Under Saddle

Well yesterday I put Freedom under saddle. He did so great, he kicked his heels up a little but nothing unexpect or just crazy. I will say the poor guy is way out of shape. Though that is about to change as I plan on fitting on him and taking him to shows in the Oklahoma Buckskin Horse Assciation!! Stay tuned for details as the first show is April 4th!! He will be shown in ABRA 3 Year Old Stallions, ABRA Amateur Stallions, Open Stallions, & Open Color.

New Pictures Of Freedom

Today I decided to give Freedom a bath as it was almost 80 degrees today. I took some pictures of him during his bath and after I turned him back in his pen. He is such a good boy and one heck of a looker. And of course these pictures DO NOT due him justice.

Hey all Family, Friends, & Haters!!LOL

I figured I would do this blog as it will be a lot easier for most to keep up with what is going on with the family as well as the ranch. I will do my best to post updates often.
I can start off by saying that breeding season is off to a great start. I have two mares in foal to my new buckskin stallion Dun Encountered That. I am soo excited and can't wait to hit the breed shows and futurities with these babies.
We are waiting on three mares to foal this year starting late March and ending in May.
Here's hoping all my horsey friends have a safe and happy foaling season. Until next time.
