Storms Brewing in Oklahoma

The skys where looking like rain Sunday night! Unfortunaly all the rain went south of us. :(

A Scary Weekend

Well my weekend was not filled with fun and excitement. It was more like worry and no sleep. My Aunt Elaine had to have emergency open heart surgery. She had a triple bypass and on top of that her doctors told her that her lungs are partially destroyed from smoking. She did make it through the surgery fine,(thanks to so serious prayer warriors and GOD.) The doctor told her yesterday about her lungs and that if she wanted to live to be an old women she could NEVER, EVER smoke or even be around smoke again. He told her that if she did start smoking again she MIGHT live 2 or 3 more years. Needless to say she wont be smoking anymore. She will be moved into her own room and out of CCU in the next day or two. She still had one tube left in and that was into her lower lung because it collapsed in surgery, but as of yesterday that was almost fully inflated!.

Her are some pictures of my Aunt Elaine and ALL of her sisters.

Sorry the pictures are so small and not real clear but they came off of my phone.

Oh and just in case your curious, Elaine is ONLY 45 yrs young.

A Sad Loss To The Horse World.

This was posted on Triple T Ranch. I just found this today.

We are sad to report the loss of our beloved Awesome on May 5th, 2009.Mighty Awesome was 17 years young and was enjoying the foaling and breeding season just prior to his death. He was diagnosed with liver cancer and passed after a valiant battle to survive. He was returned home and laid to rest where he could be near all that he loved. Thank you to everyone who helped make this great stallion a once in a lifetime sire - The All Time Leading Sire of Halter Point Earners.Keith and Cherrye Tittle

What a beautiful horse and such an asset to the breeding industry.

Ima Spotless Doll AKA Ima

Here are a couple of pictures of one of my broodmares. She is ready to foal anyday now. I figure she will go on the 7th the night of the full moon. These are just head shots but she has an absolutly beautiful head.
Left and right shots. Maybe this evening I can get some good full body shots!

Fire My Jets AKA Taxi

I just had to share these pictures I took of Taxi today. She is so beautiful. She ws the first show horse the one that started it all. I have owned her since she was 3 months old. She is a sweety. Sire is Fire A Jazz(ROM's in WP, Heading, Healing, Reining, Cutting, and a Superior in HALTER) and Dam is Jets EZ Payday(Producer). She is standing 15.3hh and still growing. Trained under saddle and in foal.

Yeah I know there is a lawn mower there but not to fret it will be moved out this afternoon when my hubby gets home to help me!
Of course one of the mares decides to flick her tail right as I snap the picture but all in all it is still a good picture and you can tell how pretty she is! You can also see in this picture the knot on her face right below and just to the left of her right eye. Battle scar as she thought she was tough enough to challenge the Alpha mare. Guess she thought wrong!

Charlie Brown Pics

Hey All!
I finally got some pictures of Charlie Brown our 09 Sorrel BS Colt. He is the last of my paint stallions His Royal Rowdy Whiz or Rowdy for short. We lost Rowdy on the 18th of May due to colic. Charlie Brown will be gelded and trained to be my oldest daughters riding horse. Enjoy the pics! DOB 5-1-09
Got an itch??!!??I just love this guy. If only the white on his face would have come around just a little more. Oh well. He's still cute.He is so hard to get pictures of because all he wants to do is see what I am doing and of course get a good scratching. Anyway maybe I can get some more pictures of him this evening! Ohh and since he was born May 1st, I am strongly concidering registering him as "Momma Had A May Day"

Abes Leg

This is Abes leg after all the stitches blew/he ripped the out. This was taken the day that I started the ATF Treatment. I will take pictures tomorrow and see if we can tell a difference or not.

Rain Rain and More RAIN!!

I love it!! I can just hear the grass and alfalfa fields reaching for the skys! So far we here in Oklahoma are having a fairly wet summer! YEAH!! Maybe with all this rain, and with time to dry between the wet spells alfalfa hay won't be so hard to come by, and won't be soooo expensive!
Side note: I pulled Freedom out of the pasture, away from his mares. He is now being fit on to show, hopefully we will hit the first one on June 20th. Also on the 12th of this month I will be taking 3 mares to see if the are in foal!
