ATF Wound Treatment

Well today I found out about a wound topical that is supposed to work better than anything you can get from your vet. ATF(automatic transnission fluid). Yep thats right. So ^ started it today on Abes leg and took a picture of it so I can compare

A mouthy two year old.

Well i went out to doctor Abe this morning and found that he had chewed through the bandage and tore out most of the stitches. The only good thing is that the stitches where in long enough that the skin is up where it should be.

Here is a picture of Abes leg the day that it happened. He will be home by this afternoon and I will take pictures of the now stitched up leg. My poor boy. He is always into something.
Hopefully the scar won't be too noticeable with it being in the white part of his leg, but if it is I will still love him the same!

Woke up this morning, only to find that my two year old palomino colt had been into the fence sometime in the wee morning hours and cut his leg up severly. A spot roughly about 4"x 4" the skin was ripped from the musle and bunch around the top of his knee. We rushed him to the vet and the he is going to keep him there for a day or two to make sure no infection will set in and he is hopeing that the stitches will hold due to where the spot is. Keep your fingers crosses I know I am.

New foal! Sorrel BS Colt. Last of the Rowdy babies. I will post pics of him when I figure out my sisters computer! He will be gelded and he will be my daughters riding horse in years to come.
